The Rockies - Worth the Climb

Ever researching for my work I found myself drawn to the Rockies. There I found breath taking scenery and a variety of big game that makes the jaw drop.

Black bear and grizzly roam fearlessly in this untamed range. Stocking up on berries and other  foods occupies their every waking moment as the fall progresses. The chill nights hint of the winter which will befall this high country all too soon.

Opportunities to photograph wildlife interaction abounded; it is easy to take a 1000 pictures a day in this wondrous place.

It’s easy here to forget the bustle to and fro of our modern world ... as you listen to the elk’s poignant call drifting across high mountain meadows and watch big horn sheep nimbly climb 100 feet of cliff.
