Humpback Whales Up Close & Personal |
|
|
If you travel to the southern most point of Nova Scotia ... that means taking ferries from island to island, you find yourself on Briar Island. Its a magical place, that’s right in the path of the Humpback Whales as they migrate into the warm food rich waters of the Bay of Fundy. There we caught a boat out to enjoy these leviathans of the deep. Little did we know that on this particular day they were feeling playful, giving us an incredible show and rubbing right up against the boat and rolling for us as we cheered them on. .... Oh and yes, we did get splashed! |
