Wildlife Artist and Photographer

Unforgettable moments in time.

Wildlife Artist, Jacqueline Verge presents her beautiful artwork, amazing experiences and vivid images in both canvas and photography. She is a self-taught Canadian artist, wildlife photographer, and aspiring naturalist. Her art focuses primarily on Canadian wildlife, landscapes, and local landmarks. Jacqueline’s foremost goal, when painting, is to reflect on canvas what she experiences during her many wilderness adventures. That’s where her business title wilderness reflections comes in … “A painting shouldn’t only be what you see, it should convey the unforgettable experience you had when you were there.”

Emotional Memories.

Jacqueline’s unusual artwork is known for its incredible detail and true to nature accuracy. Every hair is painstakingly painted in, the finest details included, and the glimmer in the eye perfectly captured. The environment of the painting while beautiful and pleasing is also true to the animal’s habitat. Perfect lighting and colors are masterfully applied to every creative rendering. Wildlife is so well depicted that her paintings seem to express a multitude of emotions around the very story behind their creation.

Photography and the adventure.

Jacqueline uses all her own unusual experiences and stunning photography for reference material in the creation of her wilderness wildlife art. She’s traveled from the rugged landscape of Newfoundland to the giant redwoods of the West Coast and from the Rocky Mountains of Alberta to the beautiful Florida Everglades. She looks for that perfect conjunction of wild animals, color, and lighting that only patients, understanding and perseverance can reveal. Jacqueline has photographed a huge collection of wildlife; such as massive humpback whales off the coast of Nova Scotia, elk and wolves in their struggle for survival in the wilds of Wyoming and Montana, huge bull moose and the elusive lynx in the mountains of the Gaspésie in Quebec.
